Vision 2030
About Our Strategic Plan
In the last three years alone, we've observed significant changes in the needs and priorities of our community. In light of these shifts, the Y is dedicated to broadening its reach and ensuring fair access to programs and resources that address community needs. Our vision is centered on enhancing the well-being of individuals and communities for ALL, with a focus on fostering positive youth development.
" Working on a vision plan takes people with different strengths and talents together toward a common goal. We are excited to share our work with staff members, Y members, parents, youth, community partners, and even those who may not currently engage with the Y. Join us as we embark on Vision 2030 – a journey where everyone plays a crucial role, from our dedicated staff to our valued members and community partners."

Critical Community Concerns
The Y is focused on serving all and meeting the needs of vulnerable and underserved groups— in particular, those struggling due to a lack of resources, aging populations, those with diverse abilities, and those experiencing bias/discrimination.
We aim to support all in areas such as the following:
-
The needs faced by today’s youth, teens, and families, including the need for role models and positive activities for youth after school.
-
The need for a safe haven from any type of bullying or violence.
-
The need to educate and prevent child abuse and neglect.
-
The need to increase access to care to address health disparities.
-
Challenges in holistic well-being, including mental health, chronic disease, and diabetes prevention.
-
Individuals and families experiencing economic, literacy, or educational challenges.
-
The need to support those with diverse abilities.
